Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we going to take a look at this 5 gallon portable Tire Bead Seater. Now this Tire Bead Seater is designed to quickly seat the bead of the tire to the wheel with one quick blast of air. Basically a simple charge of air to this tank here, is all it takes to seat the most difficult tire beads. So most tire beads can be seated between 40 to, using 40 to 80 PSI there.

Basically how you would do that using this tank, is right here is your fill valve, so just push your handle until the ball valve's open. And then, connect your air hose to the tank right here. And that'll fill up the tank, you'll want to fill up to 80 PSI. There's a gage right here that you'll be able to read, to fill your tank up. Once you get of to the 80 PSI, then just close this ball valve right here.

And then remove or disconnect your air hose form there. And then you'll take your air hose and attach it to the valve stem that's on the tire or on the wheel. And you do want to make sure that the valve core is taken out of the valve stem, and that the tire is laying flat. So with your air hose connected to that, the air in there that's going into your tire is going to seat or inflate one side of the tire against the wheel. So what you want to do is on the other side of the wheel, where you want to seat the tire to the wheel, you position this discharge tube right here into the tire.

With there flange right up here resting on the wheel. So you just hold this up against the wheel there. This rests on the wheel. And the tube will shoot the air into the tire, so while you're holding the tank with one hand, what you'll do is use this other hand to operate the air release handle. And then just push that handle down.

And when you do that, a burst of air will shoot out of this tank, and seat the beat to the wheel. Once that happens, all you have to do then, pull your handle back up, and then just remove the air hose form the valve stem, insert the valve core back into your valve stem. And then just check your tire for the correct pressure that you want in there. They do use the heavy duty ball valve on both the air inlet right here and the discharge valve right here. And when you push it there's a large ball valve in there. Now this is designed to work on up to 24 and a half inch size tires, capacity of this tank is 5 gallons, maximum pressure rating for this tank is 145 PSI, but the recommended operating pressure should be 85 to 125 PSI. And the weight on this tank is only about 23 pounds. So it's really not too bad. But that should do it for the review on the 5 gallon portable Tire Bead Seater..
